This year a group from the Mongolian-speaking ministry in Austria have been active in mission in Sweden. Stockholm is now home to around 20,000 Mongolian people A group from Austria together with a mission team from the Washington Mongolian Church visited Stockholm in April and were able to share the gospel with over 100 people.
Later this year, in June, a group from Europe again visited Stockholm, together with a mission team from Onnuri Mongolian church in Seoul. This time they undertook a full evangelistic program including drama, dance, testimonies, preaching and music.
As a result of these two visits and the individuals who came to faith through the mission trips, there is now a small Mongolian church meeting weekly in Stockholm. The new church has been given the name ‘Iveel’ meaning ‘Grace’. The leaders of Iveel Church are being discipled from afar and it is planned that leaders from Europe will visit each month for the next few years to support the church with preaching and discipleship.
Pray for this new church, for the members in their faith journey, for the workers supporting them from afar, and pray also for the right pastor to take care of this new flock.
