On the first Sunday of Advent we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the church building in Ternitz. Guests from our church congregations in Vienna, Wiener Neustadt and Graz came to join the celebration service, which was held in the Catholic parish hall due to space reasons. Also present were representatives from the city of Ternitz and the local Lutheran and Catholic churches as well as the Free Churches in Austria, namely our chairman Karl Peloschek. Friends from the Free Christian Church in Neunkirchen and Ichtys in Wiener Neustadt also joined to celebrate. The beautiful service of celebration was rounded off wonderfully with a reception in the parish hall. There was a good response to the sermon from P. Horst Fischer and the historical input from Dr. Franz Graf-Stuhlhofer as well as the excellent musical offerings. <\/p>\n\n
