The latest news of the earthquake in Syria and Turkey, of the many deaths and the destruction that will claim many more victims has shocked us all. Our brothers and sisters from Lebanon, among many others, are looking for missing people who were in the earthquake area. What a desparate situations for many thousands of people! We should bring the situation before God with prayer and supplication.
The European Baptist Federation has already set up the possibility of financially supporting the relief efforts of local churches. In both Turkey and in Syria there are churches who are part of our Baptist family.
